The Opportunity

Due to the recent announcement of the retirement of our Inclusive Education Coordinator, we are now seeking to fill the position of Assistant Principal – Diversity and Inclusion (POR3) to commence from the beginning of 2026.

We are looking for a qualified leader to join our school community, which is dedicated in nurturing the whole person-academically, spiritually, and emotionally helping students become capable and compassionate leaders of tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities :

As a key member of our leadership team, you will :

• Have an understanding of and commitment to the Church’s mission in Catholic Education & capacity to contribute to the spiritual & community life of All Saints School and parish.
• Have a sound knowledge and understanding of inclusive practices and the requirements of NCCD.
• Manage NCCD documentation and reporting.
• Have a sound knowledge of inclusive teaching and support strategies for students with a disability.
• Select and promote evidence-based intervention strategies for students at risk and those identified within NCCD.
• Lead staff in supporting children in their acquisition of English as an additional language through a range of strategies that enable high quality interactions and create a strong context for the development of language.
• Participate in ongoing professional learning to maintain teaching expertise and knowledge of effective teaching practices to improve students with a disability.
• Have highly developed communication, planning, analysis, interpersonal, conflict resolution and team building skills.

The POR component is a fixed term for 4 years and is offered in accordance with the Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2020 (as amended or updated).
