hotel manager oversees all daily operations staff and finances to ensure a smooth-running hotel and positive guest experience. Key responsibilities include managing staff creating budgets implementing marketing strategies and handling guest relations and complaints. They must also ensure compliance with health safety and legal regulations.

Key responsibilities

Staff management : Hire train supervise and evaluate hotel staff including front desk housekeeping and food service employees. Create staff schedules and assign tasks.

Financial management : Create and manage budgets set room rates monitor expenses and forecast revenue. Maintain financial records and reports.

Guest relations : Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by resolving issues handling complaints and making sure hotel services and amenities are up to standard.

Operations management : Oversee all hotel operations including front desk housekeeping maintenance and food and beverage services. Ensure the property is clean safe and well-maintained.

Marketing and promotion : Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract guests and maximize occupancy rates.

Compliance : Ensure the hotel complies with all health safety and licensing regulations and company policies.

Vendor relations : Coordinate with external parties like suppliers and vendors to manage services and amenities effectively.

Required skills and qualifications

Strong leadership and management abilities.

Excellent communication customer service and interpersonal skills.

Experience in a hospitality or hotel management role.

Financial acumen with budgeting and forecasting experience.

A strong understanding of hotel operations (front desk housekeeping etc.)
