Position Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, managing key accounts, and leading the sales team to expand market presence. This role demands strong leadership, excellent customer relationship management, and a deep understanding of the retail furniture industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed company sales targets and expand the customer base in retail furniture markets.
- Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, including chain stores and institutional clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals; conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Oversee inventory management in coordination with production and supply chain teams to ensure product availability aligns with sales demand.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer service and brand reputation.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with promotional activities and new product launches.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and budgets for senior management review.
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings to build brand presence and secure new business.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the retail furniture manufacturing or related industry.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts effectively.Strong leadership skills with experience in recruiting, training, and managing sales teams.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Skills
