About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled HVR / Fivetran Administrator to manage, optimize, and scale our enterprise-grade data replication infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in configuring HVR (now Fivetran HVR) environments, establishing replication pipelines across heterogeneous systems, and ensuring seamless, high-performance data movement across on-premises and cloud platforms.

Core Responsibilities :

• Platform Management - Install, configure, and upgrade HVR software, including the Hub, agents (HVAs), and associated components across diverse environments.
• Connection & Replication Setup - Establish and maintain connections with multiple data sources (Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and cloud platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift). Configure replication channels, define locations, select objects, and implement transformation rules.
• Performance Optimization - Tune HVR configurations to maximize throughput and minimize latency. Adjust batch sizes, parallelization, and network settings, while proactively addressing infrastructure bottlenecks (storage, CPU, memory, bandwidth).
• High-Volume CDC Implementation - Design and manage strategies for log-based Change Data Capture (CDC) to support large-scale, real-time replication scenarios.
• Operational Health & Monitoring - Ensure agents and pipelines run reliably. Implement monitoring, alerting, and proactive health checks to guarantee continuous replication with minimal downtime.
• Troubleshooting & Support - Diagnose and resolve replication errors, latency issues, or connectivity failures. Provide root cause analysis and permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Collaboration & Documentation - Partner with data engineering, DBA, and platform teams to deliver scalable solutions. Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, operational runbooks, and best practices.
