Role Description

This is a Freelance role for a Solution Architect at PTechSoft. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and developing IoT solutions, integrating various systems, consulting with clients on business processes, and implementing software solutions. The role includes working with Modbus, C, and C++ for smart home and edge server applications. This is a hybrid role located in Bengaluru, with some work from home flexibility.

• Architect scalable IoT & Edge solutions for industrial automation.
• Design hardware and software for connected systems — including current sensors, ambient sensors, and energy-monitoring modules .
• Collaborate on edge-to-cloud integration (MQTT, OPC-UA, Azure, AWS).
• Drive performance, reliability, and scalability across Edge Server & Firmware layers.
• Engage with global customers in the energy and industrial automation domains.
