Lead Sitecore Developer

Ecolab’s Information Services organization is growing a team of dynamic and high-performing .NET and Sitecore developers, representing diverse backgrounds and specific business functions. A person in this role will be responsible for building and maintaining internally and externally facing web applications while adhering to software quality standards, leading a group of developers through principles of good software design, and coaching and mentoring other developers. They will work closely with the product owners to conceptualize, design, develop, and deploy high-valued enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technology talent with a proven ability to think big-picture and provide deep insights on industry trends / best practices. May research and recommend cloud or third-party tools that can be successfully integrated into a project’s final architecture. Demonstrable working knowledge of Sitecore CMS 8+ is required and verifiable certification is a significant plus. Strong CSS and HTML skills are a requirement as is a good understand of JavaScript and common web frameworks.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and configure global solutions across a range of clients
• Work closely with the project manager, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
• Responsible for application solution quality from design to go-live.
• Responsible for communication and collaboration with key stakeholders in the delivery of features
• Stay abreast of new emerging web technologies and tools
• Ensure software architectures and designs solutions are in alignment with company architectures and standards
• Provide technical leadership and direction
• Participate in an agile scrum process
• Implement DevOps practices - driving automation and reuse of existing technologies to reduce redundancy
