About the Role :
EXL is seeking a motivated and dynamic Lead Assistant Manager to join our F&A Digital Transformation team. The role will support the execution of digital initiatives to streamline and enhance finance and accounting processes using automation and analytics. You will play a critical role in driving efficiency improvements and helping clients adopt next-gen technologies in their F&A operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support Digital Transformation Initiatives : Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of digital solutions for F&A processes including RPA, AI, and data analytics.
- Process Assessment & Optimization : Analyse existing finance & accounting workflows to identify automation and optimization opportunities.
- Project Coordination : Manage project schedules, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of digital transformation projects.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with clients, technology teams, and internal business units to understand requirements and ensure alignment.
- Data Analysis & Reporting : Support creation of dashboards and reports to monitor transformation KPIs and project performance.
- BRD & Project Compliance : Ensure thorough documentation of processes, changes, and solutions as per organizational standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience :
4-7 years of experience in Finance & Accounting domain, with exposure to digital transformation projects.Understanding of F&A processes such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Record to Report.Basic to intermediate knowledge of automation tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) and familiarity with analytics tools (Excel, Power BI / Tableau).Experience in coordinating project activities, managing timelines, and supporting delivery teams.Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with multiple stakeholders.Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.Preferred Skills :
Prior experience working in F&A transactional processes within a BPO / GIC environment.Understanding of Lean Six Sigma & able to apply the conceptsExposure to Agile methodologies
