Software Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our dynamic team in the development of Electronic Health Record (EHR) Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in software engineering, leadership experience, and comprehensive technical expertise ensuring security, scalability, interoperability, and usability of applications.

Let’s talk about Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include : Design, develop and test software; Verify software behavior meets requirements through manual and automated tests.

Deliver quality product within timeline; Document product design; Analyze, debug and help resolve customer issues.

Collaborate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders required.

Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives that help achieve organizational mission. Implements organization strategies through the effective direction and management of employees and resources.

Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and / or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company.

Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.

Coaches team members on performance, provide inputs for performance evaluations and might be involved in pay actions.

Typically without budget or hire / fire authority.

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience

Required :

Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex software projects, preferably in the healthcare IT or SaaS industry.

Strong technical proficiency in any programming languages (Java, .Net / C#), web technologies, and database systems commonly used in SaaS application development

Familiarity with backend stored procedures using TSQL

Experience using Test automation tools like Selenium

Knowledge of front-end technologies - React or Angular

Experience with cloud-based environments - AWS, Azure or GCP.

Experience with CI / CD and agility focused on high-velocity value delivery to customers.

An ability to make hard decisions and explain the rationale to stakeholders.

Strong sense of urgency when dealing with customer pain points.

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in computer science

Minimum of 12+ years of related experience.
