This role is part of Alcons Information Technology function a team that delivers cutting-edge technology solutions to Alcon associates and customers to help our people and the world see Sr. Associate I Software Engineering (Science / Tech / Engineering Path) is primarily responsible for designing and developing software solutions by applying technical expertise and collaborating with other engineers.

Specifics Include :

Design and implement software solutions based on requirements

Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality code standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions

Troubleshoot and resolve software issues promptly

Build technical expertise and develop problem-solving skills

Contribute to software development projects ensuring solutions meet business and technical requirements

Make decisions on design and implementation within assigned tasks working under the guidance of senior engineers for complex decisionsAll associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) maintaining accurate and complete documentation ensuring rigorous quality control and completing all required training. Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations.

Technical Competencies :

• Power BI Dashboarding (Advanced)
• Power BI Report Builder (Advanced)
• Power BI Service (Advanced)
• SQL (Oracle and SQL Server) (Intermediate)
• Data Modelling (Advanced)

Responsibilities :

Design develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.

Develop and maintain paginated report for pixel-perfect printable reporting.

Manage Power BI projects and artifacts using Git repositories.

Participate in design reviews and provide input to design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information / data flow and understand and comply with Agile Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning / execution steps.

Work hours : 1 PM to 10 PM IST
