Roles and Responsibilities :
- Monitor Active Directory and Exchange environments, ensuring system health and promptly remediating issues.
- Manage Active Directory global forests, including Group Policy Objects (GPOs), site and service replication, OU structures, and trust relationships.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server operating system events and perform remediation according to established change control procedures.
- Review and resolve Windows Server network connectivity alerts within required SLAs to prevent production outages.
- Ensure all Windows Server operating systems are properly patched, secure, and compliant with organizational standards.
- Review vulnerability scan results and remediate findings to maintain compliance with security requirements.
- Work closely with InfoSec teams to maintain virus-free, secure operating systems across the environment.
- Implement project work related to operating system upgrades, application updates, and infrastructure enhancements.
- Adhere strictly to organizational Change Control procedures when performing system modifications.
- Create and maintain service tickets, change requests, and knowledge base documentation with clear, detailed technical information to support IT governance.
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing after-hours support as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Strong experience with Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and related services.Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server OS administration and troubleshooting.Familiarity with Exchange administration and enterprise messaging platforms.Understanding of patch management, vulnerability scanning, and remediation practices.Knowledge of network fundamentals and connectivity troubleshooting.Ability to write thorough technical documentation and follow structured processes.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.(ref : hirist.tech)
