Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Chef at Samskara Resort & Spa in Jaipur. The Head Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, including menu planning and execution, maintaining high food quality and presentation standards, staff supervision, and inventory management. The role involves ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, introducing innovative dishes aligned with wellness cuisine, and fostering a positive and efficient team environment. The Head Chef will also support event catering and guest-specific dietary needs.
Qualifications
Culinary skills including advanced food preparation, presentation, and wellness-focused cuisine
Experience with menu planning, recipe development, and cost control
Leadership and team management experience to oversee and train kitchen staff
Knowledge of health, hygiene, and food safety standards
Strong organizational and time management skills
Creativity and passion for innovative and health-conscious culinary techniques
Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred
Previous experience as a Head Chef in a luxury or wellness hospitality setting is an advantage
