- Mechanical Engineer in Design Engineering designs Enclosures, Panels, switchboard Panels, Cable Trays, Mounting of equipment, busbars and other similar electro-mechanical equipment. He prepares documentation like sheet metal part & assembly drawings, Assembly drawings for Installation, component selection for hardware and buy out parts, fabrication drawing, he models parts in Autodesk Inventor and does basic weight & BOM Qty calculations. Mechanical engineer needs to have knowledge about relevant Drawing documentation & ISO standards and basic knowledge about International and other standards related to mechanical engineering.

Developing mechanical design of modular enclosure / buildings (small / medium scale) in Autodesk Inventor and produces project drawing & documentation as mentioned in upper paragraph. Mechanical Engineer in design engineering based on inputs works on CAD models for sheet metal parts, design concepts & detail models of parts and assemblies in Autodesk Inventor, participate on engineering meetings with equipment suppliers and develops new skills and knowledge through internal and external education. Mechanical Engineer will be part of team of engineers with a lot of knowledge in various disciplines.Responsibilities : Please list at least 5 duties / accountabilities .
Developing of project conceptual and detailed design in CAD.Based on input data (information, requirements, standards), development of mechanical project documentation : detailed sheet metal part & assembly design, Installation drawings, Customer Drawings, fabrication weldment drawings, detail drawings, descriptions, instructions, material submittals, BOM, presentations and marketing materials etc.During design follow and take into consideration international, national and company standards and good engineering practicesUse knowledge and experience to fulfill requirements given by project tasksParticipating in regular project team meetings, and on-site coordination meetings if any.Reporting project status to Lead Engineer- MechanicalProactive cooperation with all team members during project executionInitiating RFI ('Request for Information ') in cases where additional clarification is neededDevelopment of defined documents according to Document list (DLIST)Verification and approval of workshop supplier documentation developed by subcontractors.Specifying Accurate Bill of Material & drawings required for project execution.Specification of necessary certificates for materials needed to be orderedSupporting suppliers with additional information during bidding phase of sourcing (offer submitting)Providing technical approval for received supplier offersProviding technical support to subcontractors and installers during production / assemblyCooperation with Manufacturing and Site deployment engineering teamCooperation with Site Manager during assembly, providing technical solutions to raised issuesCooperation with Quality Control during quality control of components / systems and assembly on SiteCooperation with Commissioning engineer on testing documentation developmentParticipation on internal testing and FATAuthorities :
