Job Overview :

Alpha Group of Institutions invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor / Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) / Information Technology (IT) & Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AIDS) department. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic and research endeavors of the department fostering a dynamic learning environment for students while engaging in cutting-edge research activities.

Responsibilities : Teaching :

Develop and deliver high-quality lectures labs and tutorials in CSE / IT / AIDS courses at the undergraduate and post graduate levels.

Implement innovative teaching methods and leverage technology to enhance the learning experience.

Curriculum Development :

Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the CSE / IT / AIDS curriculum ensuring alignment with industry trends and academic standards.

Design new courses or update existing ones to reflect advancements in the field.

Research :

Conduct and publish impactful research in reputable journals and conferences within the field of CSE / IT / AIDS.

Collaborate with colleagues and students on research projects seeking external funding when applicable.

Student Mentorship :

Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students on academic and career-related matters.

Supervise student projects theses and dissertations.

Professional Development :

Stay current with advancements in CSE / IT / AIDS through continuous learning attending conferences and engaging in professional development activities.

Contribute to the scholarly community through participation in academic conferences and other professional forums.

Community Engagement :

Actively participate in departmental and university committees.

Establish connections with industry partners and engage in collaborative projects.

Assessment and Evaluation :

Design and implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate student learning outcomes.

Provide constructive feedback to students and contribute to programmatic accreditation efforts.

Qualifications :

in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or Artificial Intelligence & Data Science.

Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of CSE IT or AIDS.

Strong record of or potential for scholarly research and publications.

Minimum 1 year of Teaching experience at the undergraduate and / or post graduate level.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
