Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented

Legal Executive

with 3–5 years of experience in the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling legal matters pertaining to property transactions, agreements, civil cases, and documentation with a strong understanding of property laws, civil regulations, and legal compliance in Tamil Nadu.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise proactively with external advocates regarding company litigation matters and maintain updated legal records.

Follow up and implement legal strategies for case closures as per management and senior leadership directions.

Assist in drafting and reviewing a wide range of legal documents including :

Joint Development Agreements (JDA)

General Power of Attorney (GPA)

Sale Deeds, Memorandums of Understanding (MoU)

Work Orders, Contracts, and Society Registration documents

Conduct property title search and scrutiny, and provide legal opinions on title clearance.

Support civil litigation matters by coordinating with empaneled advocates and internal stakeholders.

Liaison with government authorities and banks for legal documentation, submission, and approvals.

Manage execution and registration of property documents (Sale / Lease Deeds) at Sub Registrar Offices.

Handle calculation and payment of stamp duties and registration fees.

Maintain legal files, contracts, and case documentation systematically.

Provide legal assistance and support on various real estate and property-related matters.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Law graduate (LLB) from a recognized institution.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a real estate company.

Sound knowledge of civil law, real estate regulations, and property-related legal procedures.

Proficiency in drafting legal documents and handling title clearance.

Fluent in English and Tamil (written and verbal communication).

Should be comfortable coordinating with legal professionals, government departments, and senior management.
