Role Summary : We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Head – Temporary Staffing to build, lead, and scale our Temp Staffing vertical as a standalone business unit . This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, with complete ownership of business development, operations, and profitability .
Key Expectations :
- Build & Establish : Set up the Temp Staffing vertical, including processes, systems, and team.
- Business Development : Acquire new clients, grow the client base, and expand service offerings.
- P&L Ownership : Drive revenue growth, ensure cost efficiency, and run the vertical as a profit center.
- Operational Leadership : Oversee payroll, compliance, and service delivery to ensure client satisfaction.
- Strategic Growth : Continuously innovate and scale the vertical into a leading business line for the company.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Business Development & Vertical Growth
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients.Build, lead, and scale the Temporary Staffing vertical as a profit center with full P&L responsibility.2. Client Relations & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding services, payroll matter, MIS & other – as may be needed from time to time.Coordinate with clients to understand their payroll requirements and ensure compliance with their policies.3. Payroll Processing
Manage and oversee the entire payroll process for temporary staff.Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and taxes.Handle TDS calculations and filings in compliance with government regulations.Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.4. Compliance
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to payroll and staffing.Stay updated on labor laws, tax regulations, and other relevant legislation.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Manage relationships with government bodies and agencies for compliance-related matters.5. Compensation Management
Develop and manage compensation structures.Ensure competitive and fair compensation practices.Conduct regular reviews of compensation policies and practices.Qualification :
Education : Any Graduate or MBA / PGDM in HR is preferred.Experience : 6-8 years of experience in payroll processing, temporary staffing, or related roles.Skills :
Having professional and business acumen.Strong knowledge of payroll systems and processes.Excellent understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements.Familiarity with compensation management and structures.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Requirements
