Role Overview :
The Manager - Marketplace Business (Mandi Lead) will be responsible for the overall strategy, management and growth of a specific Mandi within our overall Mandi business. This is a P&L management role that requires a combination of skills : strategic planning, supply management, Demand generation, and a deep understanding of market and customer preferences. The ideal candidate is an independent leader who has the ability to manage end-to-end business operations, plan and execute 0 to 1 scale up and create predictable profit pools.
Location : Maharashtra (Solapur / Nashik)
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategy to drive supply and demand within a particular mandi and increase the market share.
- Understand local Supply and Demand trends and competitor activities. Use insights to form appropriate plans to leverage the inputs for growth opportunities.
- Identify revenue & cost-saving opportunities for maximising profits.
- Work with cross functional teams like Supply Chain, Finance, Credit teams to optimise costs and enhance revenue.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality of produce and experience to the customers.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Leverage technology and innovation to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
What We are Looking For :
Engg / MBA professionals with 2-5 yrs of experience into pure play Key Account management roles with an end-to end responsibility and in a fast-paced setupManaging Rural Areas Sales Exposure is preferred.B2B Sales exposure in FMCG / FMCG / Ecommerce industries with hands on understanding of Credit Facilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong first principle thinking, ability to identify & solve problem statements end to end.Should have managed operations, with a track record of bringing processes efficiency.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability.Excellent stakeholder management skills.Strong Desire to travel across rural areas in the assigned geography
