Job descriptionKnowledge of advanced technology & process involved in Semiconductor, Flat Panel, Solar cell manufacturing (SEMI, Nanomanufacturing). Knowledge of import and / or export trade compliance elements, e.g., Harmonized Tariff Schedules, Export Classification Commodity Numbers, Customs entry process, Customs invoicing requirements, special trade program requirements, etc. Able to demonstrate the ability to conduct classification analysis to arrive at an accurate HTS and ECCN Classification, by using various trade tools such as GRIs, CROSS rulings, WCO explanatory notes, and Export Regulations & other Classification Tools
Roles and Responsibility
- Perform Customs Trade HTS & ECCN Classification determinations spare parts, and other products for import and export
- Assist in compliance data collection and record keeping
- Support compliance training and audit activities
- Generate and analyze compliance reports
- Participate in root cause analysis of international trade issues, recommend solutions to help implement corrective actions
- Supporting Customs inquiries related to classifications of products
- Other Projects as assigned by trade management
