Their role includes understanding customer needs presenting and demonstrating products customizing solutions and acting as a liaison between clients and the product development team. They are responsible for bridging the gap between technical solutions and business requirements for customers.

Key responsibilities

Customer and client interaction : Identify potential customers build relationships and meet with clients to understand their technical and business needs.

Technical solution development : Design and propose customized solutions that match client requirements often by modifying existing products or creating new ones.

Product demonstrations and presentations : Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to highlight the value and benefits of the product or service.

Liaison between teams : Act as a technical liaison between the sales team and product development or engineering teams to provide customer feedback and ensure products meet market needs.

Post-sales support : Provide post-sales support by training customers troubleshooting issues and ensuring customer satisfaction with the implemented solution.

Sales support : Assist with the technical aspects of contracts and negotiations and help the sales team meet sales goals.

Market and product knowledge : Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings and continuously update knowledge of the companys products.

Required skills and qualifications

Technical expertise : Deep knowledge of the products and services being sold with a strong foundation in engineering or a related technical field.

Communication skills : Ability to explain complex technical information in a clear concise way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
