Primary Job Function :
- Achieve assigned zone sales targets and ensure brand-wise and product-wise goal attainment.
- Support and guide the team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Lead the execution of marketing initiatives and programs as per divisional strategy.
- Oversee chemist and stockist-level initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop, mentor, and groom team members for the next level of leadership.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), stockists, and other key stakeholders.
Core Job Responsibilities :
Drive the sales management process effectively through Area Business Managers (ABMs).Conduct market analysis to understand market potential, market share, and set zonal objectives, budgets, and targets accordingly.Plan and implement sales incentive programs to motivate and reward performance.Ensure timely and accurate reporting of closing stock by stockists and resolve any secondary sales queries.Focus on field operations doctor coverage, repeat visits, and call averages for doctors and chemists ensuring 100% field compliance.Identify and develop weak regions to optimize sales performance.Share strategic insights and industry best practices with the marketing team to support campaign design and implementation.Drive field engagement with doctors, chemists, and stockists in compliance with MCI guidelines.Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Training, HR, Supply Chain, and Finance for smooth business operations.Monitor brand-wise and value-wise monthly sales progress and ensure consistent performance.Oversee SFA (Sales Force Automation) implementation and monitoring.Ensure timely execution of Head Office policies, directives, and initiatives in the field.Supervisory & Management Responsibilities :
Lead, mentor, and support the team (RBMs, ABMs, and Sales Representatives) for continuous performance improvement and career growth.Conduct regular review meetings for ASMs / ABMs to track progress and provide actionable feedback.Handle zonal-level union issues in coordination with the HR team.Track and analyze effort parameters and strategic execution at the field level.Ensure achievement of zonal budgeted numbers and drive accountability across the team.Key Skills & Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
