We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Purchase Manager
to oversee end-to-end procurement operations for our multi-outlet restaurant chain in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong vendor management skills, a deep understanding of supply chain processes, and the ability to ensure cost-effective and timely sourcing of all materials.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for food ingredients, packaging, equipment, and consumables.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, credit terms, and supply agreements.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations, kitchen, and finance teams to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and compliance documentation.
Ensure quality standards and adherence to food safety norms.
Track market trends and pricing to optimize procurement costs.
Coordinate logistics, delivery schedules, and vendor performance reviews.
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within the F&B or hospitality sector.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
