Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, mentor, and manage the purchase team to ensure efficiency, productivity, and timely delivery of materials.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and organizational goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure optimal quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain and expand the supplier network to support multiple project needs.
- Review, approve, and process purchase requisitions and orders in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with project, engineering, and finance teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
- Monitor purchase budgets, track cost control measures, and ensure adherence to financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, vendor agreements, and reports.
Skills & Competencies :
Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost optimization skills.In-depth knowledge of mechanical materials, equipment, and technical specifications.Familiarity with procurement processes, ERP systems, and supply chain management.Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
