Purpose of the job
Accountable for maintaining, growing and developing applications sales in India & MEA region. Managing the business through distributors and direct sales.
Main markets will be food & beverage but will also include some responsibility for consumer and industrial customers / distributors
About the job (Job Responsibilities)
- Responsible for sales within the region but with a focus on food & beverages.
- Function to be the main go to person for food & beverage enquiries and become the food & beverage expert in the region.
- Develop new business in the region through distributor partners or directly with new and existing accounts. Negotiate sales agreements with existing customers in the region.
- Manage communication with respective departments (Business management, Supply chain, Operations, Marketing and Innovation, Technology)
- Monitor, analyze, and evaluate market performance and customer feedback to generate new product / solutions ideas, identify product / service features that need to be changed to meet customer needs.
- Monitor, analyze, and evaluate market trends in the region, consumer behavior and competitor activity to identify market opportunities.
- Provide on a monthly basis sales forecasting for production and supply chain.
- Perform / Run regular reporting and customer visit reporting using the CRM tool.
- Assist in fixing credit limits for customers.
- Support organisation of customers seminars and visits with technical functions.
- Assist and help at exhibitions and trade shows.
We believe you bring (Education & Experience)
Technical related degree in food science, chemistry or similar.Total 7-12 years with Minimum 5 years experienced in the sales in the region and in an international business environment.Experience should be in industries such as food but experience in C&I or a willingness to gain experience in consumer & industrial applications is an advantage. Distributor Management is important.
