Job descriptionDesign, develop, and maintain Teradata-based data warehouse and ETL processes. Work with FSLDM to structure and manage financial services data efficiently. Optimize SQL queries, performance tuning, and database design for large datasets. Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions. Implement and maintain data models, views, and stored procedures within Teradata. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality across systems. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and peer testing activities. Support production systems, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement fixes proactively. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5-10 years of hands-on experience as a Teradata Developer. Strong understanding of FSLDM (Financial Services Logical Data Model). Expertise in Teradata SQL, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and TPT utilities. Experience with data modeling, ETL design, and performance tuning. Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and best practices. Working knowledge of Unix / Linux scripting and data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, DataStage, or Talend) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Experience in the Banking and Financial Services domain. Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
