Key Responsibilities :
Technical Sales Support
- Understand customer specifications, project requirements, and application needs for switchgear products.
- Provide technical guidance and product recommendations to customers and sales teams.
- Prepare and present detailed technical proposals, quotations, and product documentation.
Customer Engagement
Engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and EPC firms to understand their needs.Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions.Respond to technical queries and resolve issues during the sales cycle.Project Coordination
Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure product feasibility and timely delivery.Support bid preparation and tender documentation with technical inputs.Track project progress and coordinate with customers for smooth execution.Market & Product Knowledge
Keep updated with the latest switchgear technologies, industry standards, and competitor products.Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer inputs.Assist in training sales and service teams on product features and applications.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplineCertifications in switchgear or electrical systems are a plusExperience :
3–7 years in sales engineering, application engineering, or technical sales related to switchgear or electrical distribution equipmentExperience with medium and low voltage switchgear products preferredKey Skills :
Strong technical knowledge of switchgear types (e.g., Air Circuit Breakers, Vacuum Circuit Breakers, MCCBs, RMUs)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to understand and interpret technical drawings and specificationsCustomer-focused approach with strong negotiation skillsProficient in MS Office and CRM softwareSkills Required
