Job Summary :
To support a wide range of business requirements through the development and design of new / modified applications in compliance to Pella Standards while using a variety of technical tools. Works with internal business partners and external resources to provide application systems that enable functional processes. Responsible for medium size projects and tasks and demonstrates a solid knowledge of functional processes and system application. Trouble shoots system and data problems and recommends appropriate action. Work to design, develop, and maintain technical interfaces from various systems, report modifications, forms modifications, or any other modification that requires technical assistance in order to meet a business need. Relay complex technical concepts to other functional and technical team members.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Percentages represent guidelines only; May vary by position and fluctuate due to changing business needs.
- 40% Day to day support of the existing environment – Production issue resolution (alerts, tickets, requests from analysts). Able to quickly diagnose issues in a wide variety of areas without specific, detailed knowledge in the problematic area.
- 20% Analysis and design work - Analyze business requirements, develop design, manage configuration and integration, and conduct robust testing to support new system implementations, current system upgrades and business process changes and CI initiatives. Work to be reviewed with Sr. Analyst or manager.
- 10% Code development – Develop code based on the technical design specifications. Perform initial code checkout. Communicate status to parties involved. Familiar with and helps improve and establish development standards. Is capable of developing across all key development tools available. Assists other analysts in increasing their knowledge of various technical tools.
- 10% Project management – Provides estimates of various technical tasks. Coordinates projects with more than one technical requirement.
- 10% Documentation, Training, and support handoff – Produce documentation to turn over to functional analyst or Sr. Analyst / Expert to be saved to appropriate location. Provides documentation and proposals for both technical and business analysts.
- 10% Advanced Support - Support other team members by providing industry expertise on difficult and complex issues.

- Responsibilities outside of normal business hours : On-call rotation as assigned. Support for implementations of projects assigned will occur on weekends.

Is a member of the HRIS team, who demonstrates project management skills from inception to implementation support.Understands business requirements, configures HR systems to meet the requirements and assists the business in using the systems.Trains users on the application, creates supporting documentation and troubleshoots applications as needed. Creates and maintains reports, configures and tests HR systems after upgrades.Builds and configures new business units in HR systems.Works with the business to build and configure integrations to third parties and other systems.Technical / Functional Skills (includes computer skills) :
Implementation, Configuration and administration experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud in any 2 modules viz. Talent Management, Oracle Learn Cloud, Benefits, Compensation, Core HR.1-2 implementations desirable.Payroll and Security experience desirable.Able to understand and perform basic query functions using SQL’s, fast formulas and queries in HR systems. Additional SQL knowledge is encouraged.Familiarity with application setups necessary for form / s, reports, workflows, etc.Strong leadership, organization & project management skills.Microsoft applications and Oracle SR creation is essential.Certifications or Licenses : NoneTravel expected : 0-10% of time
