D365 business central techno-functional consultant

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced D365 Business Central Techno-Functional Consultant to lead and deliver enterprise-wide Business Central ERP solutions. The consultant will act as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring that functional requirements are translated into effective technical solutions. Expertise in Project Accounting and experience working with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) customers will be highly valued.

Responsibilities :

Lead the full lifecycle implementation and customization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Understand and document business needs; develop functional and technical specifications.

Customize modules including Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Service, and Project Accounting.

Implement Project Accounting functions : budgeting, cost tracking, resource allocation, and billing.

Collaborate with stakeholders for requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design.

Develop extensions and integrations using AL and related tools.

Provide functional and technical support post-implementation.

Facilitate training, testing, and change management processes.

Work in cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.

Recommend ongoing improvements and optimizations.

Qualifications & Skills :

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.

In-depth knowledge of ERP modules including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Project Accounting.

Proficiency with AL language and Visual Studio Code for Business Central customizations.

Strong business analysis, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with SQL Server, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps), and web services integration.

Proven ability to manage complex issues and deliver on project goals.

Effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders and technical teams.

Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Certifications in Dynamics 365 Business Central or relevant Microsoft technologies preferred.

Bonus : Experience in the EPC domain and project-centric industry practices.

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or relevant field.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification is desirable.
