About the Role :

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Test Engineering Manager to support the Test Engineering Manager in overseeing the testing and quality assurance activities of our software development lifecycle. You will help lead a team of QA engineers and testers, ensuring that software releases meet high standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role blends hands-on testing expertise with leadership and coordination responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist the Test Engineering Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing all testing activities across multiple projects.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of QA engineers and testers to ensure high productivity and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and strategies.
• Help establish, implement, and enforce QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across manual and automated testing efforts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Track testing progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively manage risks and issues.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new QA team members.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for testing tools, frameworks, and infrastructure.
• Facilitate communication between QA teams and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on quality goals.
• Provide timely reporting and documentation on test metrics, defects, and release readiness.
