Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Voice & Accent Trainer to lead the development of global communication skills for teams supporting game services. The role involves coaching new hires and existing employees on neutralization, global intelligibility, listening comprehension, and effective player engagement. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in V&A training, preferably from the BPO, or customer experience industries, and will play a critical role in shaping communication excellence for global delivery.
Responsibilities
Training Delivery & Facilitation :
- Conduct V&A, Business Communication, and Soft Skills training for new hires and existing team members
- Responsible for teaching and enhancing the English language skills of individuals with primary focus on English naturalization and neutralization, through pronunciation, grammar, syntax correction both in verbal written communication, for American and UK English.
- Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions and build a consistent communication coaching framework
- Customize content to meet global communication standards for voice / chat / email-based support
Curriculum Development & Localization :
Design and enhance V&A training modules with focus on clarity, grammar, pronunciation, and toneTailor communication content based on regional accents (US, UK, Europe) and game-specific scenariosStay relevant with advancements in language teaching methods and materials to provide the most effective instruction.Design and Adapt teaching materials and methods to address the unique requirements of learnersAssessment & Coaching :
Review and provide constructive feedback on employees' written work to improve their writing skills.Develop and administer assessments to gauge the progress and proficiency of employeesProvide individual coaching and feedback sessions for employees with communication gapsTrack learning outcomes, measure post-training improvements, and provide reports to stakeholdersProcess & Stakeholder Collaboration :
Work closely with service line leaders to identify team training needsPartner with recruitment and onboarding teams to evaluate candidates' communication skillsSupport client presentations or calibration sessions related to language quality, if requiredThe candidate :
5–7 years of experience in Voice & Accent / Communication Training, preferably in a BPO, KPO, or Game Services environmentPreferred Bachelor's / Master's degree in English, Linguistics / or has relevant language learning and training experience.Native or near-native proficiency in English, with strong knowledge of English Naturalization and Neutralization.Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and stakeholder communication skillsSkills Required
