Joint President

Job Summary : The Joint President of Chemical Research and Development for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) will lead and drive the strategic direction, innovation, and execution of R&D activities focused on the development of APIs. The role requires strong scientific acumen, leadership capabilities, regulatory knowledge, and a track record of delivering complex projects from discovery through to commercial production. Key Responsibilities : Strategic Leadership : - Define and execute the long-term vision and R&D strategy for API development aligned with business goals. - Lead R&D teams for process chemistry, analytical, regulatory, etc. R&D Innovation and Execution : - Oversee development of robust, scalable, and cost-effective chemical synthesis routes for APIs. - Drive innovation in green chemistry, continuous processing, and process intensification. Regulatory & Quality Compliance : - Ensure development activities align with regulatory requirements. - Oversee preparation and submission of technical documentation for regulatory filings Cross-Functional Collaboration : - Partner with Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain, and Business Development to ensure seamless tech transfer and commercialization. - Support BD teams with technical inputs during customer interactions and due diligence processes. Talent Development & Organizational Growth : - Build and mentor a high-performance R&D team foster a culture of scientific excellence and innovation. - Implement best practices in project management, risk mitigation, and performance metrics. Budget & Resource Management : - Develop and manage the R&D budget, allocate resources effectively across projects and platforms.
