Job Summary :
The E-commerce Fulfillment Specialist / Manager is responsible for managing and executing the entire order fulfillment process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to customers while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing inventory, processing orders, packing and shipping products, and handling returns.
Key Responsibilities :
Order Processing :
Receive and process online orders accurately and efficiently.
Verify order details and ensure accuracy before processing.
Update order status in the system and communicate with customers regarding order updates.
Shipping and Logistics :
Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Track shipments and address any issues that may arise.
Negotiate shipping rates and optimize shipping processes.
Inventory Management :
Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage stock in the warehouse.
Track inventory movement and ensure timely replenishment.
Identify and address potential stockouts or inventory discrepancies.
Returns Management :
Process customer returns efficiently and accurately.
Inspect returned products and determine if they can be resold or salvaged.
Issue refunds or exchanges as needed.
Customer Service :
Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status and fulfillment issues.
Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
Contribute to a positive customer experience.
Collaboration :
Work closely with other departments, such as customer service, sales, and marketing, to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) as needed.
