B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics / Embedded Systems
Primary Skill
Telematics architecture and connected vehicle systems, CANalyzer, or equivalent, UDS & CAN protocols, TCU, cloud, CAN networks, and vehicle diagnostics layers, preparing RCA documentation, validation summaries, and issue dashboards
Relevant Experience
2 to 5 years in the automotive domain with exposure to Connected Vehicles, Telematics Systems, Diagnostics and EOL Processes
Job Description
The selected consultant will be required to support for :
- To do Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Reports for all Telematics-related Field / EOL issues.
- Telematics-related EOL (End-of-Line) Issue resolution at manufacturing facilities.
- Weekly Operational Dashboards summarizing field complaints, EOL failures, open / closed tickets, and FOTA campaign status.
- Validated Software and Parameter File Deployment to Tata Motors internal servers.
- Comprehensive log analysis reports based on TCU logs, CAN logs, Cloud logs, Service tool logs, and EOL tool logs, with actionable insights.
- FOTA Campaign Monitoring Reports, including failure cases analysis.
- Media Event support involving Telematics systems
- Telematics Field Issue Resolution : -Reproduce and analyze customer-reported connectivity, location, or call service issues, Visit field locations as needed to capture logs and validate fixes with internal teams and suppliers.
- Log Analysis & Debugging : -Perform advanced log analysis using TCU, CAN, Cloud, Service tool, and EOL tool logs, Collaborate with multiple teams for multi-layered fault isolation.
- EOL Issue Management : -Troubleshoot production line Telematics failures, support root cause identification and resolution to ensure smooth vehicle rollout, Validate consistency of SW / HW / configurations at the plant.
- Software & Parameter Management : -Support end-to-end management of Telematics Software and parameter file release to TML servers.
- FOTA Campaign Support : -Assist in planning and monitoring Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA) campaigns, Validate field behaviour post-update, and analyse failure scenarios.
- Media Event Support : -Provide Telematics technical support during media drives, Ensure system health checks, pre-validation, and rapid troubleshooting during live events
