Senior Design Engineer - Project Engineering

Position Summary :

Achieve projects dispatch in time by OTIF release of project related flawless BOM and drawings. Project charter study, Continuous motivation and technical training to team members leading to employee growth and retention. Process adherence while execution & ensuring eye for detailing.

Key Responsibilities :

• Tactical planning and execution to release New, customized Designs, BOM and drawings of projects as per plan by deploying resources.
• Plan and implement cost reduction concepts for projects which are to be introduced in customized modules design.
• Talent acquisition, development, and retention. Lead people to achieve Self-management, superior performance, consistent with Armstrong values. Reviews with set cadence.
• Clear FAT, SAT related issues on priority, visit sites to improve designs, handshake points, solve issues etc.
• Thorough implementation of data storage, retrieval, and security management protocols.

Knowledge / Experience & Competence Req

Qualification

B.Tech, BE Mech

Skills Required :

Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Catia

Core Competencies :

1)Knowledge of Machine design, manufacturing process and Raw / finished material / goods availability in market.

2)Leadership skills, Logical and tactical thinking

3)Hands on knowledge of Inventor and Auto cad.

4)Systematic approach to plan and execute projects / experiments, risk mitigation skill.

5)Ability to respect and implement principles and values of organization
