About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snowflake Architect to design, implement, and optimize our cloud data warehousing solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, cloud data platforms, and data integration strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical acumen who can translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance data solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide Snowflake solutions, ensuring best practices in data modeling, architecture, and security.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to gather requirements and provide data-driven solutions that support business objectives.
- Define and implement Snowflake architecture strategies including database design, schema modeling, data partitioning, and clustering for optimized performance.
- Develop data pipelines and ETL / ELT processes using Snowflake and integration tools such as Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica, or Fivetran.
- Ensure high performance and reliability of data solutions by monitoring, tuning, and optimizing Snowflake warehouses, queries, and storage.
- Establish governance frameworks including data security, access controls, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide guidance on migration strategies from on-premise or other cloud data platforms to Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain documentation, architectural diagrams, and best practices for the data warehouse environment.
- Mentor and guide data engineering teams on Snowflake best practices, design patterns, and advanced features such as time travel, cloning, and streams & tasks.
- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, Snowflake features, and industry trends to continuously improve data architecture and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.6-12 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or cloud architecture roles.Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake, including Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and advanced features.Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling concepts, and ETL / ELT processes.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with cloud-native tools.Understanding of data governance, security policies, and regulatory compliance.Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Java for data workflows is preferred.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience in leading technical teams, providing mentorship, and driving architectural decisions.Why Join Us :
