Role Description
As an Area Sales Manager , you will be the driving force behind our success in the assigned territory. Your responsibilities will include :
Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 5 Medical Representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.Strategy Execution : Implement our 'Journey-to-Buyer' (JTB) strategies to effectively penetrate the market, drive product adoption, and maximize prescription generation across key therapeutic areas.Target Achievement : Responsible for the overall sales performance, market share growth, and effective resource management for the Jaipur area.Market Analysis : Conduct regular market analysis, competitor mapping, and provide accurate sales forecasts to the management team.Doctor Engagement : Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and prescribing doctors in the Cardiology, Nephrology, and GP / CP segments.Compliance : Ensure all field activities adhere to company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory standards.Qualifications & Experience
Education : Must possess a B. Pharma or B.Sc degree from a recognized institution.Experience : 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role (e.g., Senior Medical Representative, or current Area Sales Manager).Therapeutic Knowledge : Prior experience or strong knowledge in selling products within the Cardiology and Nephrology segments is highly preferred.Skills : Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
