Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Semi-Qualified Company Secretary located in Ernakulam. The Semi-Qualified Company Secretary will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and maintenance of statutory records, coordinating board meetings, ensuring compliance with company laws, filing necessary documents with regulatory authorities, and supporting the finance and legal teams. Day-to-day tasks include drafting resolutions, maintaining statutory registers, preparing minutes of meetings, and supporting the compliance and secretarial functions.

Qualifications

• Passed the Executive Programme of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI); completion of mandatory training preferred.
• Strong understanding of the Companies Act, 2013 and working knowledge of RBI / NBFC regulations.
• Hands-on experience in maintaining statutory registers and records and assisting in Board and Committee meetings.
• Proficient in ROC filings, preparation of secretarial documents, and related compliance procedures.
• Excellent organizational, drafting, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related discipline preferred.
• Prior experience in the financial services or NBFC sector will be an added advantage.
