Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes . The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing backend services and collaborating with front-end teams to deliver scalable, high-availability solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development : Lead design, development, and maintenance of service-side logic and databases using Java and modern frameworks.

API & Microservices : Architect, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs and distributed microservice architectures .

Collaboration : Work with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing components with backend logic.

Cloud & Infrastructure : Architect and manage secure, cost-optimized AWS solutions ; deploy workloads leveraging cloud-native services.

Event Streaming : Build and maintain high-throughput pipelines using Apache Kafka .

Containers & Orchestration : Deploy, scale, and monitor applications using Docker and Kubernetes .

Security & Data : Develop secure data protection and storage solutions; ensure compliance with best practices.

Quality Assurance : Conduct testing, debugging, and peer code reviews to ensure performance and reliability.

Documentation & KT : Maintain clear technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

5–6 years of hands-on backend engineering experience.

Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices .

Strong experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).

Hands-on expertise with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes .

Knowledge of CI / CD principles and Agile delivery practices.

Familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence .

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage ambiguity pragmatically.

Excellent communication skills with a proactive and self-driven mindset.
