Job Title : Associate Director – Counterparty Business (Retail Supply Chain Finance)

Experience : 10–15 years

Location : Mumbai

Role Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious leader to head our Counterparty Business team focused on retail supply chain finance . The ideal candidate will have deep experience in originating, managing, and growing dealer / vendor financing across Tier 1 / 2 / 3 cities in India. This role demands strong business development acumen, people leadership, and portfolio management skills.

Key Responsibilities :

🔹 Business Development & Origination

  • Drive pan-India origination of supply chain finance for dealers and vendors of large corporates.
  • Develop and execute marketing and outreach strategies to onboard new counterparties.
  • Negotiate and convert leads into active borrowers.
  • 🔹 Team Leadership

  • Set up and manage a large field-facing team (30–50+ people) across geographies.
  • Ensure high team engagement and low attrition through strong people management practices.
  • Build a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability.
  • 🔹 Portfolio Management

  • Maintain active engagement with existing borrowers to :
  • Ensure repeat drawdowns every quarter.
  • Retain and grow market share.
  • Monitor and maintain credit quality.
  • Lead collection efforts from delinquent borrowers through negotiation, legal processes, and other recovery strategies.
  • Key Competencies :

  • Proven ability to build and scale counterparty-facing teams.
  • Strong business development and negotiation skills.
  • Deep understanding of retail supply chain finance and dealer / vendor ecosystems.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage credit risk and ensure portfolio health.
