Position Summary
The Established Brands Lead serves as the “single point of accountability” for the established and mature assets portfolio across all Therapeutic Areas. This individual is accountable for leading the Established Brand Team through the end-to-end efforts essential for the maintenance of these brands, including brand performance monitoring, risk management, and Health Authority interactions. The Established Brands Lead develops, leads, and inspires a high-performing matrix team and is responsible for ensuring strategic alignment with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Technical / Functional Responsibilities :
- Leads cross-functional teams to develop and maintain fit-for-purpose brand strategies that support ongoing commercial supply, brand optimization (e.G., markets, stock keeping units [SKU] rationalization), regulatory compliance, and brand deletions.
- Accountable for the execution of the aligned brand strategy by cross-functional teams, incorporating considerations across all relevant functions and operational areas.
- Partners with Corporate Development to identify, evaluate, and operationalize divestitures.
- Participates in interactions with global health authorities to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance, timely completion of post approval commitments / requirements, any necessary updates in response to new information, responses to health authority information requests, and completion of any remaining marketing authorization filings and approvals.
- Understands operational complexities related to ongoing brand performance, including logistics and data management.
- Integrates necessary financial and access inputs to inform continuous brand management according to the aligned brand strategy.
- Partners with and provides guidance to the Global Product Strategy (GPS) organization on long term volume demand planning, lifecycle management, trade packaging, and commercial product supply needs to support ongoing brand requirements.
- Maintains oversight of access, pricing, and reimbursement considerations according to the aligned brand strategy.
- In partnership with Medical Affairs, ensure commitments to generate (e.G., through completing ongoing medical evidence generation) and disseminate (e.G., through medical publications) evidence are met.
- Supports investor relations and public affairs teams in managing external communications to ensure consistent and effective messaging for established brands.

Qualifications & Experience
Advanced degree in related field required (MS, MD, PhD, MBA, PharmD, etc.)Proven leadership and / or people management capability;previous experience in building and leading a high-performing teams
A minimum of 15 years’ experience in the drug development & commercialization process with extensive working knowledge of end-to-end drug development and / or expertise in one or more of the relevant areas (e.G., clinical, regulatory, project planning and management, medical, commercial development)Proven expertise in stakeholder managementDemonstrated ability to constructively influence peers and senior leaders across the enterpriseWorking knowledge of regulations in the pharmaceutical industryDemonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across geographic and functional boundaries (e.G. early development, R&D, disease strategy teams, marketing, access, etc.) and building strong external relationshipsTrack record of successfully executing on large, complex projects.Success in situations requiring rigorous, analytical problem solving and the ability to determine scientific opportunity and commercial targetsBroad understanding of US and international issues relative to the pharmaceutical industryIf you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn’t perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
