II. JOB PURPOSE
To ensure smooth services in the hospital and take care of Inpatients.
III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
- Assessing and diagnosing patients to determine if and what kind of treatment they may need.
- Meeting with the families of patients to keep them updated on the patients condition.
- Keeping records of patients, their diagnosis and medical history.
- To provide quality clinical care to patients.
- To ensure timely attention and intervention for any query or requirement from the IP patient.
- To ensure that IP rounds are duly done and the patients are attended empathetically.
- To ensure clear and prompt communication with the admitting as well as Referral Consultants.
- To complete all OP & IP records on time with accuracy.
- Assessing and diagnosing patients, prescribing treatments and writing prescriptions for patients for all needed medication.
- To ensure emergency preparedness & Response treatment
/ Procedure / Investigations.
Filling out all paperwork involved in each process.Teamwork with nurses, technical staff, other doctors and any medical students in the workplace.and monitoring the patients' progressPerforming basic administrative and business tasks, attend the outside camp, writing prescriptions, and filling out paperwork.To be available for emergency calls.To demonstrate effective application of technical & professional knowledge.Keep detailed records of procedures.Filling out all paperwork involved in each process.To keep updated with latest research & treatment techniques in the field of Internal Medicine.To attend emergencies as per institutions protocol and to ensure thedepartment is suitably equipped at all times.
To supervise & train all nursing / technical assistants of the department.To ensure cost effectiveness of the operation of the department.To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices.
