West Pharmaceutical Services - Senior Solution Architect - SAP BW Module

Job Summary :

The Sr. Solution Architect, D&T, SAP BW possesses in-depth knowledge and experience to work autonomously. The position is responsible for the overall design, development and implementation of SAP BW application running on HANA. The role is proficient in the areas of solution design, development, performance tuning and troubleshooting. Working in a global environment, this role has a hands-on approach capable of working across teams and time zones. This role must have hands-on experience in SAP BW, data warehouse design, Extraction & Reporting, Planning with leading teams of junior Duties And Responsibilities :

• Act as an expert in leading, designing, implementing and supporting the enterprise BI dashboards and reports.
• Act as an expert in leading, designing, implementing SAP BW on HANA application, and supporting the enterprise Business Planning process integrating with APO.
• Develop reports, dashboards & KPI scorecards and aggregate data from various sources.
• Balance functionalities look / feel and performance to ensure an excellent user experience which is a strong focus of the role.
• Work with other teams to gather and document reporting requirements and to use the underlying data sources / data warehouses to meet business requirements.
• Worked extensively on LO Cockpit Extractions, Flat File Extractions and Generic Extractions.
• Having knowledge on using SAP delivered information structures, User defined information Structures for extracting data from different Logistic Information system (LIS).
• Modeling of Custom Info objects, Info object maintenance, Data Sources, Info Sources, DTPs, Info packages, PSA, Advanced DSO objects, DSO Objects, Info cubes, Data Marts, Info Providers, Multi Providers, Aggregates, APD's, Liaise with the SAP Functional Teams to work on solutioning on all Gaps / Enhancements or bug fixes.
• Expertise in Creating / modifying complex HANA Calculations views on multiple sources.
• Integrating currency conversion and other complex formulas like YTD, MTD,QTD etc. to feed external sources like Power BI.
• Expertise in writing start routines, end routines, expert routines, user exits and data source exits using Functional module etc.
• Ability to create / enhance Hana CDS views with usage of multiple annotations.
• Other duties as : Bachelors degree in Engineering , Preferably in Computer Experience : Minimum 5 years 5-8 years of relevant experience required. Prior Experience on SAP HANA Attribute views, Analytic views, and Calculation views etc. and ability to create customized calculation Knowledge, Skills And Abilities :
• Preferred Knowledge / Understanding on Reporting tools BO / Power BI Advanced BW Modeling and SQL.
• Ability to perform on extensively on Finance Extractors, HR Head count, Flat File Extractions and Generic Extractions.
• Having knowledge on using SAP delivered information structures, User defined information Structures for extracting data from different Logistic Information system (LIS).
• Good to have knowledge in front-end Business Warehouse Components like Queries, Calculated Key figures, Restricted Key figures, Structures & Cells, Variables, Exceptions and Conditions, RRI, Web Items and Web Templates & Reports, Input Ready Queries / Planning Templates.
• Comply with all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
• Comply with the companys safety and quality and Travel Requirements :

15% travel, including global travel. Occasional on-call work required. Prefer 12pm 9pm India time. Willingness to work outside of these hours as needed. Ability to work in a global and virtual environment and to effectively prioritize and?execute tasks in a high-pressure environment .
