Role Overview : The Creative Strategist will be responsible for building content strategies, campaign structures, and communication frameworks for our clients. This includes defining what needs to be communicated, how it should be structured, and ensuring alignment with brand goals and audience expectations. The strategist will collaborate closely with the copy, design, and performance teams to guide execution.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Content & Campaign Strategy
- Understand client briefs and develop structured monthly strategies, content buckets, and campaign ideas aligned with business objectives and audience behaviour.
- Define the communication hierarchy, tone of voice, and content directions that guide the creative and copy teams.
2. Creative Ideation
Lead the development of campaign hooks, themes, formats, and messaging direction for content across platforms.Build outlines for reels, carousels, performance creatives, and brand campaigns, which the copy team will flesh out.3. Insight & Trend Application
Use platform insights, industry benchmarks, and competitor analysis to create contextually relevant strategies.Recommend new formats, ideas, and engagement styles based on what’s working in the market.4. Pitch & Proposal Support
Work with the business development team to create strategy presentations, concept notes, and campaign blueprints for new business pitches.Structure the pitch deck in coordination with the design team.5. Client Communication
Participate in strategy calls, pitch meetings, and monthly reviews.Clearly present strategic thinking, explain the logic behind campaigns, and align internal teams on the direction.6. Inter-Department Coordination
Act as the bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring the copy, content, design, and ad teams are aligned with the communication framework.Review creatives and content from a strategy lens and provide directional feedback.Qualifications :
Education - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, or related field.Experience - 1-3 years in strategy, brand planning, or content marketing roles within an agency or marketing team.Skills○ Strong understanding of digital-first communication, especially on Instagram and Meta.
○ Ability to structure content calendars and campaign breakdowns.
○ Familiarity with audience segmentation and content targeting.
○ Experience working with creative and performance teams.
○ Strong deck-making and presentation skills.
