Job Summary :
The Beauty Retail Fragrance Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and
managing comprehensive training programs to enhance the knowledge, skills, and
performance of retail staff in selling fragrances. This role ensures that Beauty Advisors
and retail staff embody the brand’s values, deliver exceptional customer experiences,
and achieve sales targets through expertise in fragrance products and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery :
1. Conduct in-depth fragrance training sessions for Beauty Advisors and retail staff,
including product knowledge, ingredients, fragrance families, olfactory
techniques, and storytelling.
2. Implement interactive training techniques such as role-playing, live
demonstrations, and scent workshops.
3. Ensure consistent delivery of brand-specific training modules across multiple
locations.
Content Development :
4. Develop engaging training materials, presentations, and guides tailored to
different learning styles.
5. Update training modules regularly to reflect new launches, trends, and
advancements in fragrance technology.
6. Create quizzes, gamified activities, and assessments to reinforce knowledge
retention.
Sales Enablement :
7. Equip Beauty Advisors with effective selling techniques, upselling strategies, and
approaches to address customer queries confidently.
8. Collaborate with the Sales team to align training programs with KPIs and
promotional campaigns.
9. Provide coaching on creating personalized customer experiences using
fragrance layering and storytelling.
Performance Monitoring :
10.Conduct in-store observations and mystery shopping to assess the effectiveness
of training and identify improvement areas.
11. Analyze sales data to measure training impact and refine future sessions
accordingly.
12. Provide regular feedback to retail teams, recognizing performance and
addressing skill gaps.
Collaboration and Reporting :
13. Work closely with the Marketing, Brand, and Retail Operations teams to align
training initiatives with brand goals.
14. Report on training outcomes, employee engagement, and development progress
to senior management.
