Cloud data delivery & modernization lead

Job descriptionMinimum 10+ years in IT project delivery leadership roles, ideally technical leads aspiring for or having experience as offshore center leads. Prior experience managing and delivering successful cloud modernization projects for North American clients. Strong ability to proactively solve problems, plan and report status, and deliver on time and under budget. Candidates may live anywhere, but must be willing to work at least 6 hours aligned with Eastern Standard Time (EST). Must have a background in leading client calls, managing escalations, and engaging effectively with North American stakeholders. Proven experience managing project budgets, reducing delivery delays, and accelerating migration velocity. Ability to lead technical client discussions, communicate with executive stakeholders, and politely push back as needed. Collaborative team mindset, strong status reporting, and a proactive approach to anticipating and overcoming delivery risks managing a twenty five member team Responsible for hiring and firing team members Experience with Informatica, Databricks, Snowflake; cloud platform certification(s) preferred. Immediate start is preferred; up to one-month notice period considered. Must have a proactive problem-solving attitude, collaborative work style, and discipline in delivering under budget and on schedule. Commitment to implementing best practices and raising the maturity of the delivery center organization. Technical and delivery excellence prioritized above specific industry backgrounds. Core Technical & Domain Skills
- Extensive hands-on experience with cloud modernization of ETL pipelines
- Strong data debugging skills and deep understanding of enterprise analytics stack
- Proven track record with at least one hyperscaler analytic environment with either (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.).
- Informatica (IDMC / CDGC) preferred; must be strong on IDMC or any leading cloud ETL tool.
- Demonstrated ability to pick up new technologies quickly and apply best practices for delivery centers.
