Business development of current business / product
Understand the customers use cases and expectations towards to the products, familiar with Valeos strengthes / weaknesses vs. the ones of the competition, and then formulate the corresponding business development roadmap
Identify the potential customers, build the contacts, and chase the business opportunities
Work with the internal Valeo teams / entities towards business acquisition
Sales activity
Be responsible for the order intakes / profitability
Initiate / facilitate / monitor the relevant internal process with target customer, e.g, NDA, RFQ / RFI, NPA, CAA, and pricing discussion, to make sure the revenue / profit target fulfilment
Leverage internal resources (R&D, sales, etc) to make sure to deliver the right products to the customer
Support the commercial targeting setting, budget & MTP process, etc
Customer feedback collection / product improvement initiative.
Customer feedback collection and analysis to support / initiate the product improvement activities
Systematically evaluate the matching between our product offer vs. market requirement
Regularly analyse the product portfolio / customer group portfolio in order to check the relevance of the current product portfolio
Make a business case through storytelling, value chain, business model approach in order to get buy-in from the management
Innovation scouting & future business expansion
Work closely with external stakeholders (authorities, cities, territories, industry associations, universities, startups, partners, customers, etc.), collect the relevant information and contribute to the innovation roadmap, benchmarking & techwatch
Based on the market trends and Valeo strategic direction, propose the future product & service, and verify the concept via discussions with partners / customers or do demo projects with partners
Do prospection for new business opportunities and horizons
Contribute to accelerate innovation within Valeo in China and worldwide
