Job description
  • Experience in managing the entire gamut of Oracle Database Administration activities under Solaris, Linux, IBM-AIX, HP-UX, Oracle Solaris on SPARC Machines.
  • Expertise in performed database (DB) tuning, performance monitoring, troubleshooting and administering the database processes; successfully established and maintained sound backup and recovery policies & procedures.
  • Skilled in identifying database requirements by interviewing customers, analysing department applications, programming & operations, evaluating existing systems and recommending solutions by defining database physical structure & functional capabilities, database security, data back-up & recovery specifications, Implementation of oracle EBS standard security practices.
  • Technical Expertise in production of Oracle entailing database backup & restoring, killing blocking sessions, setting parameters, detaching attaching and scheduling scripts.
  • Rich experience in managing the troubleshooting of Oracle EBS R12.2, R12.1 and 11i EBS and Single Instance / RAC issues.
  • Proficient in resolving technical challenges and providing appropriate solutions to fulfil customers’ needs as / when required.
