Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Drive the institutional sales strategy for long-only clients to achieve revenue, market share, and client coverage objectives.
- Expand the firm's reach across domestic and foreign institutional investors (DIIs and FIIs).
- Identify, engage, and onboard new institutional clients, including mutual funds, insurance companies, and global long-only investors.
- Deepen wallet share by promoting equity research ideas, corporate access, and execution capabilities.
2. Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with fund managers, CIOs, and senior analysts at institutional funds.Serve as a trusted advisor by delivering actionable investment insights, sectoral updates, and company intelligence.Facilitate seamless client servicing through timely dissemination of research, management interactions, and market events.Ensure client satisfaction and long-term retention through proactive and personalized engagement.3. Collaboration with Research & Trading Teams
Align client coverage priorities with the research team's focus areas.Coordinate with the trading desk for high-quality execution and efficient order management.Partner with analysts to organize corporate roadshows, conferences, and thematic events.4. Market Intelligence & Strategy
Track market developments, fund flows, and sectoral positioning to identify new business opportunities.Provide insights on macro and micro trends, portfolio shifts, and emerging investment themes.Contribute to strategic initiatives to strengthen the firm's positioning among institutional investors.5. Leadership & Team Management
