Mechanical Site Engineer – GAD & Site Coordination

Role Overview

We are looking for a  highly skilled Mechanical Engineer  with strong expertise in  GAD (General Arrangement Drawings)  and  mechanical systems of elevators .

The ideal candidate should be capable of  reviewing, correcting, and coordinating mechanical drawings , verifying  site measurements , and  proposing technically viable alternate solutions  when site deviations arise.

This role demands  hands-on mechanical understanding ,  keen technical observation , and the ability to bridge the gap between  design and site execution  to ensure quality installation.

Key Responsibilities Technical & Mechanical

• Study and verify elevator  GADs and mechanical layouts  before execution.
• Identify and correct  errors, mismatches, or feasibility issues  in drawings.
• Evaluate site clearances (shaft, pit, overhead, machine room, door openings).
• Propose  practical alternate mechanical solutions  for site deviations.
• Coordinate with the design team for  GAD revisions  and corrections.
• Ensure correct  fitment and alignment  of car frames, guide rails, machine beams, buffers, and brackets.
• Work with the factory and site teams to ensure  fabrication and materials  match corrected site conditions.
