Mechanical Site Engineer – GAD & Site Coordination

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in GAD (General Arrangement Drawings) and mechanical systems of elevators.

The ideal candidate should be capable of reviewing, correcting, and coordinating mechanical drawings, verifying site measurements, and proposing technically viable alternate solutions when site deviations arise.

This role demands hands-on mechanical understanding, keen technical observation, and the ability to bridge the gap between design and site execution to ensure quality installation.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Mechanical

• Study and verify elevator GADs and mechanical layouts before execution.
• Identify and correct errors, mismatches, or feasibility issues in drawings.
• Evaluate site clearances (shaft, pit, overhead, machine room, door openings).
• Propose practical alternate mechanical solutions for site deviations.
• Coordinate with the design team for GAD revisions and corrections.
• Ensure correct fitment and alignment of car frames, guide rails, machine beams, buffers, and brackets.
• Work with the factory and site teams to ensure fabrication and materials match corrected site conditions.
