About the Role
Join the Utilities Back Office Operations team and support critical customer lifecycle processes including billing, payments, meter data validation, and service order management. This entry-level position is ideal for graduates looking to build a strong foundation in utilities operations within a Business Process Services (BPS) environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer account transactions : billing adjustments, payment posting, account updates.
- Validate and resolve meter reading exceptions (high / low consumption, missing or estimated reads).
- Review customer documents and requests for accuracy and compliance.
- Support service order completion : move-ins, move-outs, reconnections, disconnections.
- Update systems and workflow tools with accurate data.
- Meet productivity, quality, and SLA targets.
- Adhere to regulatory, security, and compliance guidelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Graduate degree in any discipline.Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.Good communication skills.Basic knowledge of MS Office.Ability to learn new systems and processes.Willingness to work in US office hours i.e. 6 PM to 4 : 30 AM.Preferred Skills
Internship or exposure to utilities or BPS operations.Familiarity with billing systems or meter data processes.Understanding of consumption patterns, tariff plans, or service order types.Core Competencies
