Roles & Responsibilities :
- Brand and Supplier Management :
- Select and onboard brand partners and manage relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable conditions.
- Product Sourcing and Assortment :
- Source products from suppliers and manage the end-to-end buying process.
- Oversee offers, and promotions to enhance product offerings.
- Commercial and Buying Management :
- Handle all commercial aspects including pricing, profitability, and margin management.
- Monitor and manage P&L for the category to ensure financial targets are met.
- Store Launches and Merchandising :
- Ensure smooth product launches and store openings.
- Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure effective in-store presentation and displays.
- Market Analysis and Strategy :
- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to inform category strategy.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive category growth and performance.
- Performance Monitoring :
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the category.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
